Do you want to be the bridge between Europe and Asia for custom electronics & mechanics?
You get to prototype with innovative designs from Europe and travel to Asia to validate them! If you are someone who can make the difference, we would like to know you. VPC is looking for an ambitious and experienced electronics and mechanical/hardware engineer for our office in Eindhoven. You will develop functional electronics, design electrical schematics and provide the best lay-out solutions and support to meet the requirements of our customers and the business targets. In this role, you will also develop and support the process to optimized volume production. You like to work in an international environment and willing to travel to our office in China.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, support, evaluate and check electrical and mechanical designs for PCBA’s electronic components, electrical and mechanical parts for box build solutions.
• Design problem solving and analysis of existing customer design to reduce time to market and support production scale up.
• Implement new validation and continuously improve our existing processes to enable global scaling of our organization.
• Develop and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Identify and implement processes to support the supply chain in Asia and Europe.
• Support and improve the internal company communication on engineering level and complete activities.
Job requirements
• Mechanical / Electrical engineering degree, extensive experience in a regulated industry
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Manufacturing and/or Industrial Engineering role in medium to high volume manufacturing
• Six Sigma Green belt certified or working towards certification
• Lean skills – driving continuous improvements, process capability
• Hands-on mentality and strong collaboration with all teams
• ICT Skills: Microsoft Office, JavaScript, Python
• Perform data analysis, create documentation and present results
• Fluency in English, Dutch is an advantage
