Account Manager

As an Account Manager at VPC, you form the link between our customer and the internal organization. You are involved in managing your customer portfolio on a daily basis. You are responsible for maintaining and strengthening a warm and productive relationship with our customers.

A very important part of your work will consist of establishing business relationships and recruiting new clients. You always think from a win-win situation: by optimally advising the customer, you achieve the goals of both your customer and VPC.

Job descriptions:

•   We expect an enterprising, convincing and flexible colleague who thinks creatively in solutions and is able to act proactively.
•   You are responsible for the sale of our services and the expansion of the turnover through intensive customer contact with a focus on translating the customer’s wishes into the internal organization.
•   You have excellent communication skills and see it as a challenge to directly engage in a conversation with your customer, both by telephone and in person.
•   You understand what is technically possible and can therefore respond to the issues of the customer.
•   You like to work independently but also in a team.
•   Pro-active, go-getter, driven, dealmaker, enthusiastic and solid personality.
•   Knowledge and experience with the technical industry is an advantage.

Employment/Industry

•   You will work for a company that supplies products to B-to-B customers
•   As an Account Manager you are part of the sales team
•   You report to the Project Manager
•   Full time 40 hours

Required education, skills and qualifications

•   Profile candidate MBO/HBO level, with technically relevant experience in a business-to-Business environment
•   Commercial and goal-oriented attitude with good technical insight
•   Good command of the Dutch and English language is a requirement for the position. Knowledge of English is required, German and / or French is a plus

Requirements

•   Living in the Eindhoven area
•   2-5 years of experience
•   Language skills Dutch and English
•   Completed MBO | HBO education
